What is Synchronicity™?
Synchronicity is an application designed to help professional audio engineers and advanced home users quickly and accurately re-synchronize audio files.
The Problem
Recording sure has changed over the last couple of decades. The days when musicians all gathered in a single studio and songs were recorded in a single session are long gone. Audio used to be recorded onto analog magnetic tape. There was no digital lag and tracks were physically locked together in time on the media. Calibrating the equipment alone was a painful and delicate process. Not to mention cutting and splicing tape and all of the other difficulties involved.
With the advent of digital recording, editing, and the rise of the internet, recording became much easier and far more accessible to the home user. However, this introduced a new problem. Different audio formats, digital audio workstations and equipment tend to cause the individual tracks to become misaligned or "out-of sync."
One solution to this problem is to manually time-shift the individual tracks, but it is very time consuming and tedious work, and it never seems to be an exact science. Another workaround is to use metronomes or click-tracks, but that always seems to produce inorganic sounding mixes, and the drummer never seems to precisely follow the beat. Ideally sync tones can be very useful, and in fact work great with Synchronicity -- although they are certainly not required. But, getting everyone to start using sync tones can be difficult. People do not change easily. Even then, manually time-shifting to the sync tone does not always work perfectly.

The Solution
Now you can quickly, easily and perfectly re-synchronize your audio tracks using Synchronicity.
How does it work?
Synchronicity uses a complex and sophisticated mathematical audio algorithm. We believe that Synchronicity makes perfect use of what computers were created for in the first place -- to perform complex and time consuming calculations quickly and perfectly with no human error. The computer does not care what type of music you prefer. In fact, the computer does not even know it is music at all. The only thing it knows how to do is to analyze the data and output the correct answer.
Aside from the obvious benefit of saving massive amounts of time and effort, Synchronicity opens up a whole new world of editing possibilities and sound quality. Since you can now get multiple tracks perfectly synchronized right down to the sample level, the audio is now crystal clear and free of muddiness or smearing. The sound stage is naturally spacious and the imaging is incredible. In addition, when you have audio that is synched perfectly, you can do all sorts of editing tricks, such as subtractive processing and noise reduction. It is even possible to remove some stereo delay effects without weird sounding phasing artifacts.

Requirements
To use Synchronicity you will need a Windows operating system with 32 MB of available memory. You will also need a Digital Audio Workstation to create the input files. From your DAW you will roughly align your tracks so there is 1 second of delay or less. You will create two input files that must be 16-bit, 44.1kHz, Mono WAV files that are exactly 2 seconds in length. Simple enough. Feed them into Synchronicity and it will analyze the files and then tell you the precise offset delay in number of samples.
Sounds great! How do I get it?
Synchronicity is available for an absurdly low introductory price of only $1.00 USD
